Grangemouth 10k

Some ,and well done to everyone who put it on the line!! some great runs and some solid runs,all in all a great day out

 
BRAMPTON TO CARLISLE

 

 

  Britains oldest 10 mile race took place on Saturday the 20th of November. The weather was dry and cold. One bellahouston harrier competed in the race Tom Keenan who finished in 1 hour 16 minutes and 2 seconds and placed 291 out of 536 participants. The Brampton to Carlisle race was his first ever 10 mile race. =
EDDIES HALF-MARATHON.
Statman records a solid PB at the race in Fort William on Sunday,Statman reduces his pb by several minutes to record 1hr21mins and change,well done to him ,looks like Tonys training is starting to pay dividends.
UNI ROAD RACE 5 MILER.
Strong runs from all members Stevie Prentice first home closely followed by Bryan Lamb who was running post Dublin Marathon fatigue to both record sub 30 mins.. In the womens divison great run from Kristina to take second junior place in a very talented field,not forgetting Mike Healy,Angela and Suzanne B. putting in strong performances.
 
STRATHAVEN 10K
 
Perfect running conditions. 4 harriers entered. 340 participants and 4 pbs for club members. Mark PATTERSON 11TH 36 11 MATHEW BROWN 28TH 38 50 FIRST JUNIOR TOM KEENAN 44 18 79TH AND DARREN MURRAY 145TH 48 49 GOOD DAY GOOD RACE. =

NATIONAL CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS CUMBERNAULD 2010

 

 
The club fielded almost 30 runners for the championships making it the largest entry in over 20 years,great runs from everyone including first timers and experienced alike,great runs from the females and a few performances of note bodes well for future events,big thank you to all including support on the course and photos provided.

RENFREWSHIRE CROSS-COUNTRY RELAYS
Another good result for the club as mens and womens teams just miss out on a medal both finishing in 4th place behind some very good teams. Kilbarchan AAC hosted the race on a beautiful day for cross-country running,everybody gave it 100% ,congratulations to all first
timers and experienced harriers for your efforts.
